Orange County Music and Dance or OCMD, for short, is a small organization dedicated to improving the lives of students who do not have the opportunity to learn music and dance because of their socioeconomic status. The mantra of this institution is that everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue their passions. As OCMD continues to grow and mature its website needed more than just a fresh face. It needed a completely new strategy to be usable for every kind of user, including users that may not have computers, and may not understand English. As I researched our potential users, their interests, and their pain points, I created initial phases and after testing and iterating, created something that works for the everyday OCMD client.
